Glass Rocks (Puddles!) Class
This easy, two-night course focuses on colour theory and fun!
Night one is fast-passed fun, just playing with colour. Students get to create multiple stacks of glass with various colours all while learning about glass surface tension and melting schedules.
Night two we will learn how to gently break large slabs of glass into small pieces that will become our rocks (puddles). Students learn how to set-up the kiln for this fun and easy process.
After the final firing, students can pick-up their ‘rocks’ and use for jewelry, accents for future glass work, added decoration for terrariums or use as conversational décor in your home.
All safety equipment supplied. Students are recommended to wear close-toe shoes and comfortable pants. Classes are taught standing, so please make sure shoes are comfortable. There may be some light bending and squatting during this class.
