What is Electroforming? There is some fancy magic (science) involved in the process, but simply put, electroforming is the process of controlling a metal deposit of copper onto a conductive surface with electricity. Basically, a thick ‘skin’ of metal is built up onto a rigid surface whether it be an organic or inorganic material (in this case stones, organic materials). Once a strong finding is formed, I then patina and polish the copper, seal it for longevity and add a matching chain. Standard 24 and 30 inch chains are included with each piece. Length will be noted in each listing.
