Blue Pink Purple electroformed dichroic glass pendant

Regular price $75.00 Sale

This dichroic glass triangle pendant has been electroformed with copper and comes with a 24 inch copper chain that can be worn in a lariat style for aa even longer look. The glass has pink, purple and blue tones within it, it's beautiful!

The pendant measures just over an 1 inch wide and 2 inches tall.

Such great texture on the copper of this one!

I begin the process by layering multiple pieces of dichroic glass and melting it down into one large slab. I then cut the slab down into individual cabochons that I either melt further, cold-work or finish with the electroforming process.

The electroforming process can take anywhere from 12-48 hours, depending on the size and detail of the piece. Each piece is given a turquoise/brown/black patina, then carefully polished in certain areas to bring out the copper below. Finally each piece is sealed with wax or lacquer to preserve and protect the finish.
